The Amazon Finds That Simplified My Adventures Abroad

Pack Light, Travel Right:

Embarking on a globe-trotting adventure should be filled with excitement, not stress. This year, I went on five trips to five different countries, so I’ve curated a list of stress-relieving items from Amazon. From space-saving packing solutions to tech-savvy travel gadgets, these essentials eased my travel experiences. Read on to discover how you can elevate your travel game effortlessly.

Bpluma’s travel bottles are great if you want to stick to your beauty routine while traveling and you don’t want to purchase travel-sized versions of your favorite items. The bottles come  with spray nozzles and pumps which is a huge perk and where many other travel containers fall short. It also comes with a funnel for hygienic use.

If you like to pack everything but the kitchen sink when you travel, but you don’t want to check a bag, Vodiver vacuum storage bags are for you. It comes with a manual pump (you can also get an electric one), but I preferred the manual pump because the idea of being in a foreign country with a mini electric vacuum that could blow a fuse was a big deterrent.

The packing cubes I have are from OlarHike and they’re great. They make packing a breeze and I personally organize my items based on clothing type to stay more organized while traveling. So, I’ll have one packing cube for dresses, one for swimwear, one for pants, etc.

This portable keypad door lock is a must-have, especially if you’re a solo traveler and especially if you’re a woman. Most hotels have door stoppers, but you can never be too prepared when traveling internationally.

I went on my first-ever solo trip this year, and the ToneOF 60 Cell Phone Selfie Stick was a big life-saver. It’s incredibly versatile and can be used as a tripod in addition to a selfie stick. It comes with a tiny remote control that fits into the handle for compact and easily portable use. I didn’t have to ask anyone to take my photo or hand my phone to a stranger while alone in a foreign country, but I was still able to get great photos and memories of my trip.

Prevent thigh-rubbing while exploring your destination with bandelettes Original Patented Elastic Anti-chafing thigh bands. If you’re going somewhere hot, live somewhere hot, and your thighs chafe, these thigh bands are cute, sexy, and prevent rubbing.

If you don’t want to lug around an umbrella during your travels but protecting your straight hair is a priority, this rain hat with visor is a cute alternative.

After seeing two too many stories about travelers experiencing or passing away from carbon monoxide poisoning, I became extra vigilant. Sites like AirBnB note when carbon monoxide alarms are present, and out of the four AirBnBs I stayed in during my two week trip through Italy, none of them had carbon monoxide alarms! Purchasing this carbon monoxide detector truly just helped my peace of mind and it was incredibly easy to use.
