A Day at Arienzo Beach Club
Dreaming of the perfect Italian beach escape? Picture this: vibrant orange umbrellas, sparkling champagne, and the sun-kissed shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Welcome to Arienzo Beach Club in Positano, an absolute gem on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Whether you're soaking in the lively atmosphere or savoring moments of pure relaxation, Arienzo Beach Club promises an experience that blends luxury, flavor, and breathtaking views—a must-visit for anyone exploring Positano.
Arienzo Beach Club is located in Positano on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. I stayed in Sorrento during my vacation, so I ferried to Positano. You can reach the beach club by foot or take a small boat in the Positano harbor, which docks at the club. This boat ride is free with your reservation, and it takes under 10 minutes—plus, you get a great view of the town.
My reservation for five people at Arienzo Beach Club cost a total of $1,150. This included individual day beds, towels, water bottles, an appetizer, an entree, two umbrellas, and a magnum size of champagne. We had initially booked our beds in the fourth row, but upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in the second row. To top it off, our server's inexperience led to an extra magnum-size bottle of champagne for our group – a delightful bonus!
Upon our arrival at around 10:30 AM, we were warmly welcomed by the staff at Arienzo Beach Club. They guided us to our beds, briefed us on the club's offerings, and took our lunch orders for later. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu, and there were so many delicious looking items I had to split some plates with my friends. I savored a caprese salad, grilled octopus with carrots, and a delectable ravioli with red shrimp that simply melted in my mouth. The memory of this shrimp ravioli still excites my taste buds.
The ambiance at Arienzo Beach Club is vibrant, making it easy to connect with other visitors or enjoy the lively atmosphere. The DJs played a mix of house and hip-hop remixes, which I loved. Who doesn't want to hear Drake while enjoying the heat of the Italian sun? The general vibe of the beach club was still quite relaxed, so even with the music playing, I could read, talk with my friends, and move back and forth between my sunbed and the water.
In summary, Arienzo Beach Club offers a well-rounded experience with its combination of relaxation, great food, and beautiful surroundings. If you're in Positano, it's a place you should consider adding to your itinerary for a fulfilling beach day.
